MOTOR.

At Fantic, our mission is to maximize both battery life and motor performance in every E-Bike we build. We equip our models with premium BROSE, YAMAHA, and TQ drive units, each selected by our engineering team for their ability to deliver exceptional torque at low cadence (60–90 RPM) and up to a maximum of 120 Nm in our Issimo 45 model.

-Brose S MAG: Consistently rated as one of the best E-MTB motors on the market, Brose brings decades of electric motor expertise from the automotive sector into the world of cycling. Weighing in at just 2.8 kg, this compact, lightweight drive unit delivers instant power, superior traction on steep terrain, and no pedal resistance—even with the motor switched off.

Virtually silent and vibration-free, it delivers up to 90 Nm of torque, making it one of the most capable options available. Plus, its seamless cutoff between 25 km/h and 27 km/h is barely noticeable. With an input of just 100 watts/hour, the Brose S MAG outputs a robust 575 watts to the chain, surpassing most comparable motors.

- The YAMAHA YMC PW-X3 electric pedal-assist motor represents the pinnacle of technology for E-MTBs.

-The YAMAHA PW S2: Developed under the “less is more” philosophy, the PW S2 weighs only 2.85 kg and provides a solid 75 Nm of maximum torque. Its outstanding power-to-weight ratio makes it a class leader.

Equipped with an “automatic support” mode, it adjusts assistance on the fly, whether you’re tackling a freeway overpass, an uphill gravel trail, or cruising downhill. The PWseries S2 is 22.8 mm shorter than its predecessor, enhancing efficiency and offering a more natural pedal feel. The result is a ride experience that’s both easier and more exhilarating.

-The TQ HPR50: Specifically engineered for lightweight E-MTBs, the TQ HPR50 (50 Nm) delivers the natural, responsive feel of a traditional bike—just with added electric boost. Quiet and efficient, it provides a truly muscular sensation on the trail.

The integrated yet removable 360 Wh battery recharges directly through the frame’s charge port, which can also accommodate a range extender for even longer adventures.

BATTERY.

Fantic’s innovative battery solutions include compact 630 Wh and 720 Wh packs, both designed for top-loading to prevent accidental drops and shield the battery from dirt and debris. Our new 720 Wh battery contains 40 cells and features a Rosenberg magnetic charging connector, known for its exceptional durability through numerous connect-disconnect cycles. Thanks to its reduced size and weight, carrying a spare battery is a breeze—two batteries combined offer a massive 1,440 Wh of capacity.

FRAME DESIGN.

The optimized placement of the motor unit and battery enhances the riding dynamics of the e-bike. By positioning these components close to the bike’s center of gravity, Fantic achieves a perfect weight distribution, resulting in superior stability, control, and maneuverability. This design ensures a seamless riding experience, whether on technical trails or steep climbs.

F.E.M. ANALYSIS.

Fantic employs advanced Finite Element Method (FEM) analysis to design frames with precision. Through extensive structural and fatigue testing, the frame’s geometry, shapes, and thicknesses are optimized to deliver maximum stiffness and durability while keeping the overall weight to a minimum. This ensures a frame that is not only lightweight but also incredibly resilient under stress.

WHEELS.

Drawing from its expertise in professional motocross, Fantic introduced a revolutionary differentiated wheel design in 2015. The 29-inch front wheel easily rolls over obstacles, providing smooth navigation on rugged terrain, while the 27.5-inch rear wheel delivers exceptional traction, control, and responsiveness, ensuring precision and grip in challenging conditions.

TRACTION.

Fantic’s innovative rocker design and the Full Floater damping system elevate rear suspension performance. The specially engineered rear chainstay allows the rear wheel to maintain consistent grip on varying terrains.
